Frequently asked questions
What bike brands ask us before a project, sorted by topic. Can’t find yours? Ask it on a free 30-minute call.
General
Yes. We work in English, on video calls and inside your own Shopify, Klaviyo and Google accounts. With brands in Asia, calls happen in your afternoon, which is our morning. You can also visit the hub in Montpellier.
Yes, for now: brands that sell performance bikes, framesets, parts and cycling gear. Other endurance sports may come later.
The monthly plan starts at €4,850 a month, after a set-up paid once and quoted for your store. You pay month by month and can cancel at any time. A one-off project, such as a configurator on its own, is quoted after the call.
No. CYKL is the titanium bike brand of the MAAKE group and our in-house demonstrator. Everything we offer ran on CYKL first.
You do. Your Shopify, Klaviyo, Google and Kickflip accounts are opened in your name, and a new store is transferred to you at launch.
Shopify stores
No, not for your dealers. We set up a partner B2B app instead: it handles dealer accounts, trade prices and minimum quantities better than Shopify Plus does. The audit tells you which Shopify plan fits the rest of your store.
Yes, if it is sound. The audit tells you whether we keep it, adapt it or start from a new one, and what each option does to the timeline.
You do. The theme, the data and every account are in your name, and the store moves to your Shopify account at launch.
Yes, with the B2B portal. Dealers get a trade account on the same store, with their own prices, and order without emails or spreadsheets. CYKL, our titanium brand, sells to its dealers this way.
Two options. You run the store yourself, and we hand everything over. Or we stay on as your marketing team with the monthly plan, paid month by month, and you can cancel at any time.
Shopify migration
There is a risk with any migration, and nobody can promise you zero loss. We reduce it: every old URL gets a 301 redirect to its new page, titles and descriptions move with the products, and we watch Search Console after launch to fix what drops.
Yes. Accounts and their order history move to Shopify. Each customer sets a new password the first time they sign in on the new store.
Dealer accounts and their prices move with the rest. How they work on Shopify depends on your Shopify plan and on how your dealers order today, so we settle it at the audit.
Yes, after a look at your setup. Lightspeed often runs the till and the stock as well as the web shop, so we first look at how your shop floor stock reaches the website, then decide what moves to Shopify.
Yes. Each part becomes its own Shopify product, and each bike gets its bill of materials, so selling a bike takes its parts off stock. AI agents create the products and the bills from your current data, and you check them before launch.
You do, from launch day. Your Shopify, Klaviyo and Google accounts stay in your name, and so does your redirect map.
Bike configurator
Yes. Kickflip runs inside a Shopify store, and the configured bike goes into the Shopify cart. If you sell on another platform today, we can move your store to Shopify first.
Kickflip already handles the options, the rules, the photo layers and the link to the Shopify cart. A custom build means paying to rebuild all of that, then to maintain it. We built CYKL’s configurator on Kickflip, and we suggest custom code only for a need Kickflip can’t cover.
You do, directly to Kickflip. The subscription and the configurator stay in your name, like your Shopify store.
Yes. You send us a frame, a fork and each finish you sell, we shoot them in our studio in Montpellier and send them back.
We check it on the call. Trade prices on Shopify depend on your plan and on how your dealers order today, and we won’t promise a setup before we have seen yours.
Outsourced marketing
A plan agreed before the month starts, drawn from everything we do: SEO pages, email flows, product pages and photos, CRO tests and AI agents. At the end of the month, a written report says what went live. Every two months, we review the results with you on a video call.
No. You pay month by month and can cancel at any time. If you cancel after paying for a month, we keep working until the end of it. Only the set-up is paid up front, once, and you can come back whenever you need us.
We do. We write the SEO pages, the emails and the product page copy, and you approve each piece before it goes live. Product photos are shot in our photo studio in Montpellier.
Yes. We work in your Shopify, Klaviyo and Google Search Console accounts, and in Notion or Google Sheets if your team already uses them. Every account stays in your name.
Not with this plan yet. Your store moves to Shopify first, and the plan starts once the new store is live.
AI systems
It depends on the job, and we switch when a better model comes out. On CYKL, the agents use Claude, DeepSeek, GPT Image, Higgsfield, Hermes and Jev. We are not partners of any AI company.
The agents read only what their job needs, through your own accounts, and their work goes back into your tools.
It happens. Anything that commits money or goes public waits for your approval, so a mistake stops with you. Each alert shows the data it comes from, and when a rule is wrong, we fix it.
No. The agents work in Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Sheets or Notion, through the accounts you already have. If a job needs a tool you don’t use, we tell you before we build anything.
No. The agents work behind the scenes for you and your team, and never reply to a customer on their own. The email agent drafts replies. You read them and press send.
Yes. When each part of a bike is its own Shopify product, a catalogue runs to hundreds of products. An agent connected to Shopify and Assemblified creates the SKUs, drafts the product pages and writes the bill of materials of each bike from your spec sheets. You check the structure before it goes live. CYKL’s store runs on this set-up.
No. We start with a job whose data already exists, such as stock or sales. Connecting the first agent often shows what is wrong in your exports, and we fix that as we go.
Yes. AI agents are part of the monthly plan, next to SEO, email and product page work. We monitor them and add the next one when you decide.
Europe
We work in English.
We can’t promise that yet. Ask us on the call and we will tell you where things stand.
Yes. MAAKE Factory, the group’s factory, assembles and paints bikes for outside brands, custom paint included. We set up your call with them.
We can’t answer that for you. We don’t give legal or tax advice, and the answer depends on how and where you sell. A lawyer or a tax adviser decides, and we build the store around their answer.
- BeforeSend us the link to your store. Nothing else to prepare.
- On the callWe go through your store with you and ask about your range, your stock and how you sell today.
- AfterYou leave with the first changes we would make, in order. If a project makes sense, we send a written proposal.
