Store build

Shopify stores built for selling bikes

Riders find their frame size from your geometry chart and see when a part on preorder will ship. Dealers order on the same store.

  • Shopify Partner

A bike sale is lost on the product page

A rider about to spend thousands of euros needs three answers before paying: which size, which build, and when it ships. When those answers are missing, they email you or buy elsewhere.

  • Riders can’t tell if they need an M or an L

The size guide is a PDF two clicks away, and the geometry chart is a photo of a table. The rider emails you, or orders a size they are unsure of and sends it back.

  • One missing part takes the whole bike off sale

Every size, colour and groupset sits in one long dropdown. When a single wheelset runs out, the bike shows as sold out, with no date.

  • Dealers still order by email

Your trade prices are in a spreadsheet you send around. Each order gets typed again by hand, and dealers can’t see what is in stock.

What we build into a bike store

Everything a rider checks before paying is on the product page, so the order reaches you with nothing left to ask.

  • Size guide tied to the geometry

The rider enters their height. The page suggests a frame size from your own geometry chart.

  • Geometry as text

Stack, reach and the rest of the chart are stored in metafields, so each size shows them as text that Google can index.

  • Builds as variants

Frameset, 2x or 1x build: each one has its own price and stock, instead of a line in the description.

  • Preorder window

When a part is out of stock, the bike stays on sale and the product page shows when it ships.

  • First email flows

Welcome, abandoned cart and after-purchase emails are running on launch day.

  • Technical SEO

Clean URLs, structured data and a sitemap are in place before Google first visits.

  • Answers for a high-value cart

Delivery of a built bike, returns and warranty are answered on the product page, before checkout.

Every part of every bike, counted in Shopify

A complete bike is dozens of parts from many suppliers. We set up your store so each sale takes every one of them off stock, the way an assembly line counts parts. CYKL, our titanium brand, sells its bikes this way.

  • A bill of materials for each bike

Each bike and each build gets its list of parts, with quantities: frame, fork, wheelset, groupset, down to the derailleur hanger and the cable grommets. We set it up with Assemblified, a bill-of-materials app for Shopify.

  • You stock parts, Shopify shows bikes

When a delivery arrives, you enter it on each part’s product, never on the bike. Assemblified works out how many complete bikes those parts can build and sets that as the bike’s stock. Parts for three bikes: three in stock. Parts for none: out of stock.

  • Stock moves with each order

When a bike sells, every part on its list comes off your stock. A refund or a cancelled order puts the parts back.

  • Every part is a Shopify product

Assemblified can also count parts that exist only inside the app. We make each part a real Shopify product instead: you see it in your stock, and you can sell it as a spare.

  • AI agents build the structure

A full catalogue means hundreds of products. An AI agent connected to Shopify and Assemblified creates the SKUs, drafts the product pages and writes each bill of materials from your spec sheets. You check them before they go live.

For dealersOn a new or existing store

A B2B portal on your own store

Your dealers order on the store your riders already use. There is no second website to build and keep in sync, and no trade price list sent around by email.

CYKL’s B2B portal on Shopify: a GRAAVE frame kit in the cart, then delivery, payment and confirmation. The dealer’s account is hidden.
The trade portal, anonymised. A dealer orders in four steps, on the same store. On CYKL, our titanium brand, since November 2025.
  • Dealer accounts

Each shop gets a company account, with its buyers and delivery addresses. Retail customers never see it.

  • Trade prices

Dealer price lists, volume pricing and minimum quantities, shown only once a dealer logs in.

  • Quick reorders

A dealer orders a size run of a frame, or ten rolls of bar tape, from one list instead of ten product pages.

  • Payment on terms

Dealers pay by card or on terms, such as 30 or 60 days, through a checkout made for trade orders.

  • One stock for both

Retail and trade orders come off the same stock, part by part, so a dealer can’t order a frame you sold an hour ago.

Included in the monthly plan, on a new store or one you already run. On its own, it is quoted as a one-off project.

In September 2024, we started rebuilding the Shopify store of CYKL, the titanium bike brand of the MAAKE group: the product pages, the preorders, then a dealer portal. Other brands get the same work today.

What brands ask before a store build

Don’t see your question? Ask us on the call.

Book a callSee all questions
  • No, not for your dealers. We set up a partner B2B app instead: it handles dealer accounts, trade prices and minimum quantities better than Shopify Plus does. The audit tells you which Shopify plan fits the rest of your store.

  • Yes, if it is sound. The audit tells you whether we keep it, adapt it or start from a new one, and what each option does to the timeline.

  • You do. The theme, the data and every account are in your name, and the store moves to your Shopify account at launch.

  • Yes, with the B2B portal. Dealers get a trade account on the same store, with their own prices, and order without emails or spreadsheets. CYKL, our titanium brand, sells to its dealers this way.

  • Two options. You run the store yourself, and we hand everything over. Or we stay on as your marketing team with the monthly plan, paid month by month, and you can cancel at any time.
